Hike the beautiful Dwarsrivier Valley your way!
Are you craving fresh open spaces and eager to discover the spectacular scenery of the Dwarsrivier Valley? There’s no better way to get up and close with the breathtakingly beautiful waterfalls, ravines and mountain-topped views than following in the footsteps of a local guide who grew up on this land and knows every corner like the palm of their hand. You’ll be delighted as they share their favourite spots and family stories with you – plus, maybe even a few local secrets if you’re lucky! Choose the hike’s difficulty level – with routes ranging from easy to more challenging.

How strenuous is the hike?
It can be as easy or as challenging as you like! You’ll be hiking in a valley so expect some uphill on the mountains; however, some routes are nearly all flat. The trails are well established and are single-track paths or jeep tracks. If you’re up for more of a workout, some of the more challenging routes will involve boulder scrambling and less well-trodden trails.
A price will be quoted based on your preferences ranging between R650 and R800 per person.
Most hikes depart at 08h00. The sunset hike departs earlier, depending on the season. Starting times will be confirmed when you book.
