I definitely believe this type of activity should be repeated in future. It was refreshing to engage in a learning experience outside the usual classroom setting. It not only broke the routine but also provided valuable real-world context to what we often only study in theory.
I believe that we often fail to fully grasp the personal and emotional impact of historical events. Being able to hear firsthand accounts from someone who lived through those experiences made the history come alive in a powerful and moving way.
This tour was informative! To do history in this way, was new for me. To learn history from lived experiences and being able to witness how history has played a role in an area was definitely something else!
